Privacy Policy
Updated 11 October 2026 · Version combined-ai-2026-10-11
These policies explain how the house handles accounts, enquiries, purchases and personal information. Please contact us if you would like any part explained before agreeing to an order.
Who to contact
A.R.G SCENTNOTE operates this website under its trading brand. Email argscentnote20@gmail.com for privacy requests. Published business details appear above when provided by the house; ask us for any missing legal or postal details before entering a contract. Do not send passwords, card details, OTPs or identity documents through public forms.
What we collect and why
We use account identifiers, names, email addresses and optional profile details for accounts; delivery addresses and phone numbers for requested quotations and fulfilment; and enquiries, support messages and reviews for customer service. Staff may record walk-in and WhatsApp customers in a private company book, including contact details, confirmed sale references, costs and delivery notes, to manage requested services and prepare accurate internal reports. Only identifiable accounts and supplied contacts are counted; anonymous browsing is not treated as a registered customer. Security records help prevent abuse. Marketing requires a separate confirmed choice. We minimise information and do not request full card numbers, PINs or CVVs.
Processing grounds
Information necessary for a requested service or contract is used for that purpose. Applicable legal obligations may require records to be retained. Security processing requires an appropriate lawful basis and proportionate safeguards. Optional marketing and external AI consultation use your specific choice; withdrawing those choices does not block ordinary shopping. Consent is not a blanket authorisation for unrelated processing.
Providers and international processing
Supabase supports accounts and database records, Vercel hosts the application, Cloudflare supports domain security where configured, and Resend sends service and consent emails. Google is optional sign-in and does not share your Google password with us. Groq receives consultation messages only after agreement. WhatsApp is an optional external service. Delivery details go only to a courier handling your agreed delivery. Providers may process information outside Nigeria; the house must document applicable transfer safeguards and provider agreements. We do not promise local-only processing.
Retention and safeguards
Account ownership checks and staff roles restrict private records. ARG consultation access expires after 24 hours; expired conversation records and usage metrics older than 30 days are cleaned during later ARG activity. Submitted briefs remain with the house for follow-up. Account, transaction, support, consent and security retention periods require a documented business schedule, with legal duties and unresolved disputes considered. Contact us to request deletion; do not assume expiry of a chat deletes a submitted enquiry.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object where applicable, and withdraw optional consent. We verify requests proportionately without asking for your password. Legal record-keeping may limit deletion, and we explain relevant limitations. You may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. We handle privacy incidents and notifications under applicable law; this notice does not assert that a legal review or regulatory registration has been completed.
